Potluck Supper
I brought a dish to the Potluck Supper, appearing today in The Morning News. I've been reading Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories to The Squirrelly -- could'ya tell? Posted on November 22, 2006 to ElsewhereComments
I've been reading Just So Stories to my kids and they love it because it is absolutely loopy. It has a narrative voice which is hilarous and reminds me of Robert Benchley but I always feel dorky when I get to one of the frequest spots where he refers to the audience as "best beloved" so I just throw in a stare straight at them and say their names instead "In the days when everybody started fair,...Malcolm" Posted by: mrfares on November 24, 2006 8:32 PM |
