Annual Call of Slacker Guide Items
I'm working on my annual Holiday Survival Guide For Slackers and I'm looking for suggestions. So if you know of some stupid crap available for purchase on the intarweb, please mention it here or drop me an email. Thanks! Posted on December 11, 2007 to ElsewhereComments
Bacon salt from www.baconsalt.com It's delicious. Posted by: KurtRoedeger on December 12, 2007 3:16 AMDon't know how last minute this item is, but - seriously - diamond ring from Grandma takes on a whole new meaning when the rocks are Lifegems® (a certified, high-quality diamond created from the carbon of your loved one as a memorial to their unique life.)
Slacker furniture = bean bag chair. Posted by: Junior on December 12, 2007 7:16 AMKitty wigs. (For actual cats, not merkins) http://www.kittywigs.com/wigindex.html Posted by: Carmen on December 12, 2007 8:35 AMOy, sorry - Bossy is too slacker-ish for suggestions. Posted by: BOSSY on December 12, 2007 8:35 AMBacon salt.. bought that for my dad, lol. This is awesome too: USB Desk Vacuum.. a retro vacuum for the crumbs. And if you are such a slacker you don't want to decorate, Perpetual Kid has the USB Christmas Computer Kit. Posted by: Beckto on December 12, 2007 12:27 PMFor the erudite slacker: action figures from major works of art! The Jheronymus Bosch collection is particularly choice. http://www.talariaenterprises.com/product_lists/parastone/bosch-garden-earthly-deli.html Posted by: Da Paulie on December 12, 2007 1:51 PMFrom the NRA? http://www.seasonshot.com/Home.cfm Posted by: waterloo.bob on December 12, 2007 4:37 PMOh what the hell... http://www.yo-god.com/default.htm Posted by: waterloo.bob on December 12, 2007 4:47 PMStupid crap, literally: http://dvice.com/archives/2007/12/gold_pill_makes.php/ If you really want to show what a slacker you are at the holidays you can give a USED Anti Monkey Butt Powder. Posted by: Yeti Mom on December 12, 2007 10:15 PMUSB Heated Gloves There are other ones out there, but these are the cutest and cheapest I've seen. Posted by: Dawn on December 12, 2007 10:36 PMKurtRoedeger - Thank you! I just spent $36 on bacon salt! Posted by: zeekster on December 13, 2007 7:53 AMJeffrey Lebowski "action" figure. Posted by: dack on December 13, 2007 8:18 AMNothing says "Birth of Christ; Prince of Peace" quite like red and green shotgun shell Christmas lights. Posted by: juliloquy on December 13, 2007 10:02 AMI just bought a "Yo, God" magnet, thanks for the tip. Posted by: Senso on December 13, 2007 10:39 AM"Merkin" - ha! I haven't heard that word in years. Nice. Posted by: Nathan on December 13, 2007 12:32 PMOh! And you can decorate your "hair down there" in festive holiday colors. Posted by: juliloquy on December 13, 2007 2:29 PMWalgreens has this bin of $9.99 PRE-WRAPPED gifts. Most of them seem geared towards men, nail clipper set, faux leatherman for the keychain, but the coffee cup hot plate warmer I got was a hit at the office. Each gift is pre-wrapped and has a little to/from card and a bow that you sorta put together on the train or in the car... a cardboard sleeve tells you what you're buying. if that's not for slackers for office white elephant parties, I'm not sure what is! ok end. Posted by: Jesse! on December 13, 2007 3:26 PMI was in a local hardware store and saw the Bullet Shaped Nosehair Trimmer from www.riversedgeproducts.com http://www.shipoffools.com/kitschmas/index.html tacky stuff - yay. Posted by: Juli on December 14, 2007 5:07 AMAlso, this: https://www.thebeerbelly.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=200%2D007 Posted by: Juli on December 14, 2007 5:11 AMWhen some one first mentioned the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker, I thought they were kidding. Nope. It's real. I'm not sure if this other one is for slacker's, but I totally want one. Really, who wouldn't a bull shit detector? So I've got two suggestions: and https://www.citizen-citizen.com/defaultsecure.aspx?id=133&type=item - 24 carat gold in a pill "turns your innermost parts into chambers of wealth" Posted by: Laura on December 15, 2007 9:14 AM |
